Vetiver Vetiver (Vetiveria zizanoides) is calming, relaxing, grounding, sedative
to the nervous system and a stimulant to the circulatory system.
Vetiver has a heavy, earthy fragrance similar to patchouli
with a touch of lemon. Vetiver oil is psychologically grounding, calming, and stabilizing.
Vetiver oil is considered to be deeply relaxing and often used in baths and
massage for issues relating to nervous tension, debility, insomnia, and
depression. Vetiver's skin care applications extend to acne treatment from
oily skin, and accelerating the healing of cuts and wounds.
One of the oils that is highest in sesquiterpenes, vetiver was studied by
Dr. Terry Friedmann for improving children's behavior.
Vetiver may help when coping with stress and to recover from emotional trauma and shock.
Vetiver has an approximate ORAC of 742,792 (TE/L).

How to use: For dietary, aromatic, or topical use.
When using as a supplement, dilute one drop in 4 fl. oz. of liquid such as goat's or rice milk.
