Western red cedar (Thuja plicata) is nourishing to the skin. This oil is different
from the bark-derived Canadian red cedar, which is also Thuja plicata.
Western red cedar oil is not red in color and is steam distilled from the leaves and branches
of the trees at the Young Living Farm in St. Maries, Idaho.
Western red
cedar oil is a clear liquid. It can be used as an alternative to mothballs by adding
to wood chips or cotton balls and placing in closets or dressers away from direct
contact with clothing.
How to use: For aromatic use. Possible skin sensitivity.
