Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) has a fresh, citrus aroma that is energizing and uplifting.
Rich in the powerful antioxidant d-limonene, Grapefruit oil is nourishing to the skin.
Like many coldpressed citrus oils, Grapefruit oil is a popular oil to use in conjunction
with weight management programs. Grapefruit may also be used to enhance the flavor of food and water.
The delectable aroma of grapefruit has a pronounced impact on the senses and emotions.
In aromatherapy applications, grapefruit is refreshing, cheering, slightly euphoria-inducing
and slightly energizing. Grapefruit's sweet and familiar aroma can evoke warm feelings that
melt sour dispositions. Grapefruit is a "releasing" oil -- so personalities that tend to
harbor resentment or keep emotions bottled up can benefit from inhaling this oil.
Grapefruit has an approximate ORAC of 226,234 (TE/L).
TE/L is expressed as micromole Trolox equivalent per liter.
How to use:
For dietary or topical use.
When using as a supplement, dilute one drop in 4 fl. oz. of liquid such as soy or rice milk.
The Properties of Grapefruit Oil
Grapefruit essential oil is anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, anti-septic, detoxifying,
anti-depressant, immune boosting, skin-toning and mentally rejuvenating. It is used to
treat acne, oily skin, cellulite, muscle stiffness, water retention, obesity, colds, flu,
depression, headaches, jet-lag, stress and nervous exhaustion. It is good for use in a
diffuser to disinfect a room.

Dilution recommended for both topical and internal use.
Dilute before using on sensitive areas such as the face, neck, genital area, etc.
Keep out of reach of children. Avoid using on infants and very small children.
Avoid using on skin exposed to direct sunlight or UV rays.
