Lavender Essential oil(Lavandula angustifolia) has a fresh, sweet, floral, herbaceous aroma that is soothing and refreshing. Lavender is steam distilled from the flowering tops of the plant, and it takes 27 square feet of lavender plants to
make one 15-ml bottle of Lavender essential oil.

In ancient Greece, Pedanius Dioscorides, a physician pharmacologist and botanist, praised the many qualities
and uses of lavender.

Lavender may be used to soothe and cleanse common cuts, bruises, and skin irritations. The French scientist René Gattefossé was among the first to discover Lavender’s properties when he was severely burned in a laboratory explosion. Lavender may also be used to enhance the flavor of foods.

How to Use Lavender Essential oil
For dietary, aromatic or topical use.
When using as a supplement, put one drop in a capsule or in 4 fl. oz. of almond or coconut milk.

Possible skin sensitivity. If pregnant or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. Dilution not required; suitable for all but the most sensitive skin. Generally safe for children over 2 years of age.

Essential Tip:
I personally would use LAVENDER undiluted for cleaning any wound. I have also insisted that it be used instead of alcohol before and after drawing blood. There was no bruising, swelling, or inflammation – and no pain!
